Complete Guide to Installing Windows 10 Using VirtualBox

To set up VirtualBox on your device, follow these instructions:

  1. Visit this link and choose the Windows Hosts option from the selection.
  2. The VirtualBox file will start downloading to your device.
  3. Open the VirtualBox file and initiate the setup. Click Next.
Note: If you encounter issues during the VirtualBox installation, uncheck the USB features in the setup wizard.

Here's how to create a fresh virtual machine in VirtualBox:

  1. In the Machine section, press the New button.
  2. Provide a name for the Virtual Machine, choose the location of the Windows 10 .iso file, and then click Next. Mark the box labeled Skip Unattended Installation.
  3. Allocate at least 4 GB of RAM and click Next.
    4. Note: You can opt for any other value as long as they meet the system prerequisites.
  4. Select Create a Virtual Hard Disk Now (a minimum of 40 GB is required for proper functioning) and then click Next.
  5. In the following Summary window, click Finish.
  6. In the Tools tab, choose the Windows 10 .iso file by clicking the button with the three dots. A dropdown menu will open. Click Media.
  7. Next, choose the Optical Disks tab and click Add.
  8. Power on the virtual machine by clicking Start.
  9. The Windows 10 installation will start.
