Installing Windows 8 in VirtualBox: Easy Instructions

To install VirtualBox on your PC, follow these steps:

1. Open this link and select the Windows Hosts option from the list.

2. The VirtualBox file will start downloading on your PC.
3. Open the VirtualBox file and install it. Click Next.

Here’s how to create a new virtual machine in VirtualBox:

1. Click the New button in the Machine section.

2. Enter a name for the new virtual machine and select the location of the Windows 8 .iso file. Click Next.
Note: Tick the box called Skip Unattended Installations.

3. Allocate at least 2 GB of RAM and click Next.
Note: You can choose any other value according to your preferences as long as it meets the system requirements for Windows 8.

4. Select the option to create a virtual hard disk now (you should use at least 40 GB for proper operation). Then click Next.

5. In the following summary window, click Finish.

6. Select the Windows 8 .iso file by clicking the three-dot button next to the Tools option. A dropdown menu will open. Click on Media.

7. Then select the Optical Disks tab and click Add. Select the Windows 8 .iso file.

8. Start the virtual machine by clicking Start.

9. The installation of Windows 8 will begin.
