How to switch the language in Windows Server 2012 R2?

  1. Press the Start button, then go to Control Panel.
  2. Under the Clock, Language, and Region section, select Add a Language.
  3. Click on Add a language once more.
  4. Scroll down to locate your desired language.
  5. Select the language you wish to install and hit Open.
    6. Note: Some languages have regional variations. Select the variant you need and click Add.
  6. After adding the language, click Options next to it.
  7. Select Download and install language pack.
  8. Wait a few minutes for the language pack to download and install.
  9. After installation, click Options again.
  10. Click Make this the primary language.
  11. Lastly, click Sign out now to apply the changes and enjoy Windows Server 2012 R2 in your chosen language.
